About the Sangam
A living tradition, carried forward with devotion
திருவல்லிக்கேணி பெரிய தெருவில் அமைந்துள்ள அரசடி கற்பகவிநாயகர் ஆலய வசந்த மண்டபத்தில் 1954-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் மாதம் 27-ஆம் தேதியன்று முருகன் திருவருட் சங்கம் என்று, காமாக்ஷிதாசர் அவர்களால் பெயரிடப்பட்டு மேலும் பல அடியார்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு சங்கம் ஸ்தாபிக்கப்பட்டது.
முக்கிய நிகழ்வாக வாராந்திர திருப்புகழ் பஜனை வழிபாடு, மேலும் ஸ்கந்த ஷஷ்டி விழா, திருத்தணி படி விழா போன்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகள் சங்க அடியார்களால் இன்று வரை பக்தி-சிரத்தையுடன் நடத்தப் பெற்று வருகின்றன.
